Just A Kid From Fall River

Updated: Sep 4, 2019

A few years back I was chatting with a dear friend about life and all the special lessons I’ve learned over the years. I was taught the bulk of those lessons from my mother, Fall River, and the many coaches that stepped in to fill the void of my father. I was taught dedication, discipline, and dependability.

The friend suggested creating a documentary style film that would assist at risk youths to stay on a positive course. Randy West has been a life long friend and filmmaker. Over the last few years I’ve never seen anyone work as hard as he has on something they believe in. He’s traveled all over the country compiling content and key footage. Most of the traveling was done solo, through early morning hrs up and down the East coast. He’s conducted over 50 interviews from family, friends, coaches from every level, and college professors. Monarch Productions is hard at work putting this documentary together. I want to thank him for going out of his way to commit to something that will help others find their light. Thank you to all the participants from Fall River to Richmond, Montreal, and now Miami. The lessons and stories I’ve posted over the years will be told by the people who I’ve shared my life with. Thank you to everyone who’s helped along the way. Your support during this long, positive journey has been priceless. The goal is to get this film in front of every high school, college, and person who’s struggling to stay on course. Please go follow the @justakidfromfallriver page today where we will post all of the people and info leading up to this film.
