I was fortunate to learn from several great coaches in high school. Scott Geary was one of the best. Yes, he helped me be a better football player. However, football was a very small part of the big picture. He helped me be a better student, teammate, and person. He also helped me train for college football during the summer to make sure I was prepared. He actually did the training with me. It’s funny how life works.
Today I have the opportunity to thank him by training his son. I’m so impressed w/ Ryan Geary for putting in so much hard work the last few years. He wakes up at 4:45am, his parents drive him to a 6am training session. He then travels back home to get ready for school. He never complains, cancels, or fails to give great effort. He’s light years ahead of most with his drive and focused mentality. Thank you for guiding me when I was a young kid with a dream.
